Head of People – Fintech
Why is this role being opened ?
This fast-growing SaaS company, fresh from a Series A round (€4.5M) in early 2025, is building a digital ecosystem for finance and wealth management professionals.
After scaling from 10 to 45 employees in less than a year and serving 600+ clients (private banks, brokers, distribution networks), the company is entering a new stage of structured growth.
The Head of People / HR Lead will design and scale the People & Culture function, ensuring the organization remains fast, cohesive, and human as it grows.
What’s expected from this role?
- Build solid HR foundations: recruiting, onboarding, performance management, leadership development.
- Scale hiring efforts for tech, support, and enterprise teams (10–15 hires in the next 6 months).
- Strengthen employer branding and culture in the Bordeaux tech ecosystem.
- Implement consistent 1:1 and feedback rituals to drive alignment and engagement.
- Support the founders in structuring teams to meet the company’s growth and revenue goals.
Ensure an employee experience that blends agility, clarity, and care.
What’s expected within the first 6 months?
- A clear, scalable recruitment strategy in place.
- A streamlined onboarding experience for all new hires.
- A manager enablement plan for key team leaders.
- First HR rituals established (feedbacks, reviews, performance tracking).

What kind of person are we looking for?
- 5–8 years of experience in fast-scaling tech / SaaS environments.
- High emotional and situational intelligence, able to read people and contexts quickly.
- Adaptable, hands-on, and versatile, comfortable with both strategy and delivery.
- Strong people-first mindset with the ability to bring structure to growth.
- Positive energy, empathy, and the ability to embody company culture.
